Tooheys New Shute Shield Grand Final Luncheon 2007
On Wednesday, 25 July, representatives of all Sydney clubs gathered for the 2007 Tooheys New Shute Shield Grand Final luncheon.
Held at Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club, the function paid tribute to Grand Finalists Easts and Sydney University while also recognising Plate Finalists Manly and Gordon.
In attendance were representatives of the Grand Final sides, as well as ARU Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer John O'Neill AO, new NSWRU Chief Executive Officer Jim L'Estrange, NSWRU President Ken Catchpole, Honorary Life Members, members of the media and other Rugby identities.
The luncheon also featured the unveiling of the Trevor Allan Cup, the prize for the winner of the new Sydney First Grade competition to kick off August 4.
