Trevor Allan Cup

2007 saw the introduction of the Trevor Allan Cup, a 12-team, six week first grade competition designed to complete the year following the end of the Tooheys New Shute Shield.

Sydney clubs were split into equal north-south pools, with the top two finishers in each meeting in the inaugural Final.

Gordon and West Harbour filled those two placings and met in the Trevor Allan Cup Final at Concord Oval on Saturday, 8 September.

Gordon emerged triumphant, running away with the title with a 34-7 victory.

The Trevor Allan Cup was struck in honour of late great Gordon, NSW and Australian captain Trevor Allan OAM, who passed away in January 2007 aged 80.
