HSBC and the Waratahs are again teaming up with Barnardos to score cash for children's charity HSBCkids. HSBC will donate $500 for every try scored by the HSBC Waratahs plus $1000 bonus for every 4th try throughout the Super 14 Season. So far the HSBC Waratahs have helped raise over $28,000.

HSBCkids is an innovative partnership between HSBC and Barnardos.It provides mentors to underprivileged children in Australia, to help with their education and social development.

The benefits for the kids are obvious; improved reading and number skills, better social integration, leading to better opportunities to realise their full potential in life.

You can help support this great initiative by cheering on the HSBC Waratahs this season and helping them score for charity.

 

 

It was a fantastic effort effort by the HSBC Waratahs in the FInal of the Super 14, but in the end a dogged Crusaders team claimed the spoils in a 20-12 win.

The Tahs did however touch down twice, bfinging the final tally of tries scored to 39 tries for the season and a total of $21,500.00 for HSBCkids.

(When the HSBC Waratahs scored a try $500.00 was added to the total, and when they scored a fourth try it was worth $1000.00! And In addition to the $21,500.00 raised through the HSBC Waratahs' try-scoring feats, HSBC also donated an additional $5000.00!)
