NSW Rugby Union 2008 Gala Awards Night
The 2008 NSWRU Gala Awards, "The Black & White Ball", was held on Sunday 14 September at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.
The event celebrated the best of the best from 2008, as well as kicking off the Tooheys New Shute Shield Grand Final Week.
For just the third time in history, the Ken Catchpole Medal finished in a tie, with Dave Harvey (Gordon) and Scott Fardy (Warringah) polling 22 votes each, one ahead of Sydney University captain Tim Davidson.
