David Dennis made his Super 14 debut for the Waratahs in 2007, however knee injuries have played a major role in the talented flanker’s career, with back-to-back knee injuries keeping him off the paddock for the entire 2008 season.
After suffering a knee injury late in 2007, Dennis was sidelined for the remainder of the year, however in his first session back at training early in 2008 he injured the other knee, with further surgery cruelly ending his season.
Born on 10 January 1986, Dennis was educated at Richmond High School from where he played three Tests for the Australian Schoolboys. A rugged blindside flanker who can also play lock, Dennis was a member of Sydney University’s 2007 premiership-winning side and went on to help coach the club’s Colts to the title in 2008.
