The 2009 season will mark Jeremy Tilse’s fourth season with the Waratahs since making his state debut on the 2006 Development Tour to the UK and Ireland.
A multiple-premiership winner with the Sydney University club, Tilse made his Super 14 debut against the Cheetahs in Kimberley in 2007 is continuing to develop his positional skills with the Waratahs amongst three Wallaby prop teammates.
Tilse was born in Newcastle on 2 June 1986, and was raised in the nearby town of Maitland. Completing his schooling at St. Joseph’s College, Hunters Hill, Tilse represented at Australian Schoolboys and U19 level and claimed a place in the Waratah Academy. His efforts saw him rewarded with a berth on the 2006 Waratahs Development Tour, where he played his first three state games, and earned a place in the Waratahs Super 14 squad.
