After one of Australia’s most anticipated professional Rugby debuts, Kurtley Beale hit the scene with a bang in 2007, before starting every match at flyhalf for the Waratahs in their run to the 2008 Super 14 Final.
An ankle injury in the Super 14 final and a broken hand suffered in the gym cruelled Beale’s representative ambitions in 2008, however a solid tour of Fiji with the Junior Waratahs and a full off-season have the talented No.10 prepared for the Waratahs 2009 campaign.
Born on 6 January 1989, Beale is one of world Rugby’s true natural talents. A member of the Joeys first XV between 2004 and 2006, Beale led the School to a three-peat of GPS Premierships – which included an undefeated streak spanning the 2004 and 2005 seasons, before going on to represent Australian Schoolboys and Australia A.
