A year of innovation and change for the Tooheys New Shute Shield will continue this weekend when Sydney University host Warringah under lights on Saturday.

With new lights installed earlier this year, the Students are using the facility to take on one of the form sides of the competition in an exciting night timeslot.

Fourth grade kicks off at 3:30pm running through to a 7:30pm kick-off for the 1st v 5th Shute Shield clash.

It won't just be about Rugby though, with a jumping castle for the kids operating from 5pm, the Lawn Party Bar from 5:30pm and a DJ to entertain the crowd after the game from 9pm-11pm.

The event continues a season of innovation by clubs involved in the Tooheys New Shute Shield, targeting the growing interest in the competition.

Night football's first 2008 hit-out took place in Round 11 when a western Sydney double header involving two local derbies was staged at Western Weekender Stadium, while the historic league-union double header at North Sydney Oval two weeks ago was also an outstanding success.
