Torrential rain on Sydney's north shore could not hold back the HSBC Junior Waratahs who accounted for the Australian Barbarians 15-5 at Knox Grammar School on Saturday night.

The Junior Tahs scored all of their points during the first half in their two-tries-to-one victory.

Greg Jeloudev opened the scoring less than ten minutes into the match, with his try converted by Adam D'Arcy who was backing up after playing for the HSBC Waratahs in Thursday's Super 14 trial against the Brumbies in Canberra.

They then went further ahead halfway through the first half when Dylan Sigg crossed, two weeks after scoring for the the HSBC Waratahs in their opening trial match against the Reds in Lismore.

D'Arcy missed the conversion but added another penalty to extend the lead to 15-0 at half-time.

In horrid conditions, Manly flyer Damien Reti scored the only points of the second half to leave the HSBC Junior Waratahs with a 10-point victory.

They play their next fixture on Saturday 13 February against the Brumby Runners at Viking Park in Canberra.
