Did you know that there are over 4,000 Coaches, Referees, Referee Coaches and Touch Judges throughout NSW? Each week, each season these referees and match officials play a vital role in rugby and without them, games simply wouldn’t go ahead. 

Support and education is offered to all budding referees and match officials via the coordination of training and development courses, referee and coaching accreditation and the supply of educational information and resources.

The accreditations and certifications awarded are part of a national accreditation policy, so once accredited in New South Wales that qualification is recognised not only in Australia but also in many of the Rugby playing nations around the world.
