NSWCHSSA, NSW RUGBY UNION AND ARU HIGH PERFORMANCE U16 RUGBY DISCOVERY DAYS ANNOUNCED

All players wishing to attend a Discovery Day must register by:

1. Contacting Paul Kipp, at paul.kipp@det.nsw.edu.au listing: Name, School, DOB, Date and Venue of the day attending. You also need to list the 3 positions you wish to trial for, in priority order. Please contact Paul if you, your parents or your school have any questions regarding the NSWCHSSA U16 Rugby Union program.
2. Completing the permission note that can be found HERE providing parental and school permission to attend. This note is to be handed in on the day of the Discovery Day you attend.


NSW Combined High Schools (NSWCHSSA), in conjunction with NSW Rugby Union and the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) High Performance unit are conducting a series of Discovery Days and NSWCHSSA U16 Rugby Union Trials to select the 2016 NSWCHSSA U16 Boys Rugby Union Team to contest the NSW Schools U16 Championships.

All players at Government High Schools aged U15 & U16 in 2017 (born 2001 or 2002) interested in being considered for selection in the NSWCHSSA U16 Rugby Union Team are encouraged to attend one of the Discovery Days as the first step in the trial process to gain selection. Each Discovery Day will include coaching from ARU and NSWCHSSA coaches.

2017 A.R.U. DISCOVERY DAY / NSWCHSSA U16 RUGBY TRIALS:

1. Monday 13 March 2017 (registration 9:00am - 9:30am)

Dangar Park
Maitland Road, Mayfield
The discovery day will run from 9:30am to 2:00pm

2. Monday 20 March 2017 (registration 9:00am – 9:30am)

Granville Rugby Park
Montrose Avenue, Merrylands (Home of Parramatta Rugby Union Club)
The discovery day will run from 9:30am to 2:00pm

3. Monday 27 March 2017 (registration 9:00am - 9:30am)

Endeavour Sports High School
Corner of Taren Point Rd and The Boulevarde, Caringbah
The discovery day will run from 9:30am to 2:00pm

Final Selection Trial: Friday 12 May 2017

9:30am - 2:30pm. Please note that attendance at Final Trial is by invitation only. The best players from the 3 discovery days will be invited to this day.
