Waratahs Rugby P/L Membership Terms and Conditions
All 2013 memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions:
(a) Fees:
- Where applicable, -Waratahs Rugby P/L will set the annual renewal (subscription) fee each year. Waratahs Rugby P/L may charge interest and fees on overdue subscriptions.
- Waratahs Rugby P/L may suspend a Member’s rights while his or her subscription (and any interest or fee) remains unpaid beyond the due date. If the annual subscription is not paid within six months of the due date, Waratahs Rugby P/L may cancel the membership.
- Waratahs Rugby P/l will set ticket prices each year. The ticketing agency will set a booking fee, processing and mailing fee. These costs are incurred by the Member and are on top of any Waratahs Rugby P/L renewal (subscription) and ticket package prices.
(b) Conditions of Purchase:
- All bookings are final and non-refundable following a cooling off period of 72 hours where a Member must contact the club in writing to terminate the membership if they do not agree with the Terms and Conditions set by Waratahs Rugby P/L.
- It is a condition of sale that tickets to Waratahs Rugby P/L fixtures may not, without the prior written consent of Waratahs Rugby P/L, be resold at a premium nor used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be denied admission.
- Junior tickets apply to ages 4-15. Children 3 years and under are free on parent’s laps.
- Concession discounts apply to full government pension card holders (War, Aged, TPI, Invalid and Disability) and full-time Tertiary students only. Please note that Senior Cards and international student cards are not accepted.
- Family membership refers to two (2) Adult and (2) Junior memberships i.e four (4) seats.
- Termination or refund of Membership: Members may request to terminate their membership with a request of refund by the club within 72 hours of purchase. Any request of termination with refund must be put in writing by form of a letter or email by the member to the Membership Manager with the reasons for termination and request for refund. Warathahs Rugby P/L will consider each request on a case by case basis, however full refunds will not be provided if a member has received or used any of the benefits provided as part of their membership.
- Members are required to notify Waratahs Rugby P/L of any change in member contact details, or any relevant information that could affect your Waratahs Rugby P/L membership. Update your details online at www.waratahs.com.au
(c) Membership Cards:
- Issue and Use: Upon purchase of your Membership you will be issued with a Membership Card. This card is issued for identification and seat allocation purposes. On the rear of the card you will find your details and seating allocations as well as a barcode. Your card is your ticket for Waratahs Rugby P/L fixtures played in Sydney. On entry to the venue, your card will be scanned. You will be issued a card per seat purchased. If you arrive at a Match that is not included in your membership package, you will not be allowed entry and asked to purchase a ticket or leave the venue. These cards must be carried with you when attending Matches and must be presented upon request.
- Lost or Stolen Cards: A Member must immediately report a lost or stolen card, as it must be deactivated. A new card will be issued to the Member, upon repayment of the replacement fee of $10.
- Cards Forgotten on Match Days: The Member will be required to complete the administration formalities and a ‘Day Pass’ will be issued. If a relative or guest is using your card(s) please ensure they have a written letter from you, the Member, providing permission to use your seating for that particular match. Please go to Waratahs Rugby P/L Membership Box Office window at the match venue to speak with a member of the Membership Team.
- Misuse of Cards: If Waratahs Rugby P/L becomes aware of the misuse of cards, the Member’s rights may be suspended and/or the Membership may be cancelled, at the discretion of Waratahs Rugby P/L.
- Faulty Cards: A Member should advise the Membership Department if a card is faulty and a replacement card will be issued without charge.
(d) Membership Seating:
- Same seat Allocations: Reserved Seat members from 2012 have priority to their current seat for the 2013 season until Friday 12 October, 2012. After this date, same seat allocations cannot be guaranteed. If your forms are received after the due date your seating will be allocated on a best available basis after Members have been processed.
- Seating Allocation System for Matches: The order of ticket booking priority for Waratahs Rugby P/L fixtures is as follows: Waratahs Rugby P/L Life Members, 9 and 8 Game followed by 6 Game and then 2 Game Members. If we are unable to meet your request for membership category or seating allocation, we will contact you to discuss further options. Payment of membership must be made at time of application. If request of membership category cannot be met, Waratahs Rugby P/L will honour a refund.
- Sitting With Fellow Members: When booking seats, Members may request that a group of fellow Members and their guests be seated together. For group seating, booking forms for all Members must be submitted together. Please keep in mind that a group seating request may disadvantage your seating allocation. Please do not mix package requests if ordering as a group. i.e. If a Member purchases a 8 Game Gold Package and wishes to sit with a Member who purchases a 2 Game Member Package, both Members’ seats will be allocated in the 2 Game Member allocation.
(e) Administration of Membership:
- Transfer of Membership - Season Memberships and seating allocations are transferable to an age and seating category of equal value or less.
- Termination of Membership by Waratahs Rugby: A Membership may be terminated for failure to pay annual subscriptions or for failure to comply with the conditions set by Waratahs Rugby P/L. A Membership may also be cancelled due to the misconduct of a Member or their guest.
- Late Renewal of Membership: Members must complete the renewal and priority booking form and send it back to Waratahs Rugby P/L by the due date specified on the form. If a form is received after that date the privileges held by certain Members may no longer be available.
(f) Super Rugby finals:
- Members receive priority access to purchase tickets in the event of a home Semi-Final at Allianz Stadium or a Home Final at ANZ Stadium. Should Waratahs Rugby P/L host a home Semi-Final at Allianz Stadium or home Final at ANZ Stadium, Members will be contacted regarding priority booking arrangements. Due to the change of venue and different seating configuration available to Waratahs Rugby P/L at ANZ Stadium, ‘same seat allocations’ will not be available at this venue.
(g) Waratah Travel Packages and Away Fixture Tickets:
- Waratahs Rugby P/L, in partnership with We Love Rugby Travel, will endeavour to provide travel packages to HSBC Waratah away fixtures throughout the 2013 season. As these events are not hosted by Waratahs Rugby P/L, tickets will be acquired through the hosting union in the best available seating allocation provided to Waratahs Rugby P/L.
